What is IELTS?
It stands for "International English Language Testing System".
Features
- To prove one's competency in English.
- Has 3 formats: academic/study, immigration (Canada, US, UK, Australia, New Zealand), work
- Has listening, reading, writing and speaking tests
Why this blog?
The blogger will share some samples (referenced from other websites) and just write some sample answers for the reading and writing tests for any of the 3 formats. It's not a tutorial. It's only there to help others answer the questions or share ideas or the best approach.
Also, the blogger is proficient enough in English to help others, having learnt English by himself (as a French speaker) and studying the IELTS by himself too. And also helping others in Hong Kong with learning English:
